How does the NIL Club ensure trust and safety with invitations?
Invitations can only be sent from confirmed NIL Club participants
Every invitation we send on behalf of NIL Club participants is done with the senders' permission
The invitation process is transparent by providing detailed information about what will appear on the invitation, which includes your first name, NIL Club association, and relevant helpful information about next steps in regard to the NIL Club
What happens when I allow the NIL Club to send invitations on my behalf?
When you allow the NIL Club to send invitations on your behalf you are giving permission to periodically send a friendly invite to people who you listed as a teammate or supporter on the app. This invite can contain your first name, information about what NIL Club you participate in and next steps for them to join the NIL Club. The NIL Club may or may not send invitations on your behalf.
We may continue to send invitations on your behalf as long as you are a participating member of the NIL Club and have opted in to sharing this information.
Someone received an invitation from me but I don't remember sending it.
Every invitation is sent with permission from the sender. You may have been asked during your sign up flow for this information. The invitation typically includes your first name, NIL Club association, and relevant helpful information about next steps in regard to the NIL Club.
How can I control whether I am opted in or out of sending NIL Club invitations?
Visit the help center in the app: Tap the question mark icon in the top-right corner of the home screen, then select "How automated messages work"
View and Manage supporter invites: Click "Click here" link to see a list of. your previously invited supporters and add new supporters if needed.
Remove supporters: To remove a previously invited supporter, tap the three dots next to their name and follow the prompts.
